Financially empowered female

 

Working as the brand and social media manager at Financially Empowered Female has allowed me to gain unique experience in building a brand from scratch. I worked with the owner of the business to create a cohesive brand system by identifying the target audience, mission, values, and brand voice. From there, it was all about aligning the visual identity to align with the brand values. My goal was to make the brand look professional, but friendly and approachable. The mission at Financially Empowered Female is to create a “safe space” for entrepreneurs and business owners to feel comfortable and confident when navigating their business finances. My design choices were made in response to this mission.

After creating a cohesive brand, I worked on creating a website that would be used to host online courses, digital products, a blog, and other resources. Through this, I gained a solid understanding of how to sell digital products online, and how to connect the checkout process to an automated email sequence to deliver the product.

Along with the website, I crafted a strong social media strategy to assist in creating brand awareness. Using the brand mission and values as a guideline, I created content pillars to narrow down our content in a way that would connect with the target audience. I then created a social media calendar with the posts relating back to the corresponding content pillars.
